About the event
Come join the Hummingbird Church team as we welcome Diego Alfonso for one night of ayahuasca ceremony and a full day of San Pedro Huachuma.
Diego will be serving the medicine or ayahuasca (yage) on Friday night and the cactus know as San Pedro / Huachuma on Saturday. The Huachuma ceremony is an all day event, beginning around 10 AM and ending around 8 PM at night.

St. George, Utah, SGU airport pickup
Airport pick-ups on Friday will take place at 3 PM and 5 PM
Checkin Friday, December 18th, 2026, and will take place between 5 PM and 7 PM
We will wrap our retreat by 11 AM on Sunday.
You have the option to stay Sunday for no additional fee, checkout Monday by 10 AM. On Sunday we will be visiting Zion Canyon Hot Springs, the price of admission is $70, and would be your own expense.
On Sunday we will take everyone back to the airport at 12 PM. The site is about 1 hour from the airport, so you will arrive by 1 PM.
Room upgrades are available for an additional cost.

Once approved you will receive two emails, one stating that you have been approved, and another that has a link to your deposit invoice. You will have 7 days from the date of acceptance to pay your deposit.
Your deposit is non-transferable and non-refundable so do not make the deposit unless you are committed to attending and understanding that we will not refund or transfer.
Total cost $1,200, $350 deposit required to reserve. Final payment of $950 due two weeks before retreat start date, on December 4th 2026. If you have paid in full and are unable or unwilling to make the retreat within 7 days of the retreat start date, no amount of the amount paid will be transferred. If you request to transfer with more than 7 days from the event date, we will transfer the any amount paid in excess of the deposit to a future retreat, your deposit will be surrendered.

Ceremonies will be conducted indoors with the option to go outside and be with the fire and nature.
Diego Alfonso
Diego, originally from Colombia, has dedicated his life to the sacred path of traditional plant medicine. Indigenous-trained in the ceremonial use of both ayahuasca and San Pedro (Huachuma), he serves these medicines with deep respect for their ancestral traditions and teachings.
Believing that service to others is his life’s calling, Diego has devoted years to learning from Indigenous elders and immersing himself in the wisdom of traditional healing practices. Guided by humility, gratitude, and reverence for these lineages, he creates a safe and compassionate space for personal growth, healing, and spiritual connection.
