December 13th - 15th, 2024 – St. George, Utah

This weekend will be held in a town east of St. George. We will conduct 2 nighttime ayahuasca ceremonies, with Maima María Manesita Queta & Luis Alberto Queta.

Maima María Manesita Queta is the 77-year-old sister of the late Taita Mayor Querubín Queta Alvarado, Chief of the Cofan tribe, who lived to be 110-year-olds. She will be accompanied at the altar by her son Taita Luis Alberto Queta, AKA “Tio Lucho”.

Their tribe lives in the Ukumari Kankhe reservation in Nariño just over the Putumayo County border in the Colombian Amazon. They are part of an unbroken lineage of Yage traditions that goes back over 5,000 years.

Together they will work in ceremony with chants, wairas, and harmonicas to harmonize one with the medicine and perform deep energetic cleansing to help shed stagnant energy and align one’s spirit.

Maima Manesita is known for her sacred healing chants and is the first medicine woman to come from their tribe. Taita Luis Alberto also works with hapé as well as other sacred plants and special resins used in smudging rituals.

The ceremonies are held in a traditional way holding sacred silent space in the beginning of the night followed by music and very deep energy cleansing using sound healing towards the end. Each ceremony will end with a share circle, giving you an opportunity to ask them questions about your experience.

The weekend includes shared accommodations at a retreat center for 2 nights (Friday & Saturday), you can stay Sunday night as well for no additional charge. Ceremony mat and bedding, meals, limpia (spiritual cleansing), breathwork, sound healing, activities, plant medicines & sacrament, and post ceremony integration support.

If approved to attend the retreat you will have 7 days to make the required $250.00 non-refundable non-transferable deposit, which is required to reserve your place. You will have until November 29th, 2024, to pay the remaining balance of  $850.00 The total cost for the retreat is $1,100.00.

There is an option to upgrade to a shared bedroom for an additional fee of $100.00 per king or queen bed and $50.00 per twin bunk bed. Two private rooms are available for an additional cost of $250.00. Men and women will be placed in separate bedrooms, unless sharing a private room.
