The Hummingbird Church ceremonial team is a dedicated circle of facilitators, musicians, healers, and integration guides who work together to create safe, ethical, and deeply supportive ceremonial spaces.
Drawing from years of experience with traditional plant medicines, somatic practices, sound healing, and trauma-informed care, the team holds each retreat with reverence, compassion, and integrity. Together they cultivate an environment where participants can explore healing, connection, and personal transformation while feeling grounded, supported, and seen.

Founder of Hummingbird Church and retreat leader, Courtney established the church in 2020 with the intention of creating safe, ethical, and well-held ceremonial spaces for personal and collective healing. She oversees both the spiritual and logistical foundations of the retreats and works closely with the ceremonial team to cultivate heart-centered environments rooted in reverence, community, and care.
Ceremonialist, healer, and vocal guide, Lauren brings over seven years of experience facilitating ayahuasca ceremonies. She weaves breathwork, sound healing, energy work, and intuitive guidance to support emotional release, embodiment, and integration, helping participants ground their experiences into clarity and authentic living.
Eloy is a ceremonial musician who has worked alongside indigenous lineages from Brazil, Colombia, and Peru. With years of experience guiding ceremonies through song and prayer, his music helps shape the energetic container of the ceremony and supports participants as they move through deep healing processes.
Wellness coach, breathwork facilitator, yoga instructor, and trauma-informed therapist, Simon integrates body, mind, and spirit through breathwork, movement, and somatic practices. His guided breathwork journeys, accompanied by original music, support emotional release and energetic activation. Simon also offers bodywork techniques such as gua sha, cupping, and Thai-yoga assisted stretching to help release tension and open the heart.
Ceremonial facilitator and steady presence within the community, Ralph brings deep compassion and dedication to the ceremonial space. Known as the backbone of Hummingbird Church, he supports the team and participants with grounded strength, humility, and care. A devoted plant-medicine dieter and practitioner, Ralph embodies the discipline and reverence of the path he walks.
Georgina is an energy worker, healer, and ceremonial facilitator who helps keep the heart of the community running smoothly. With intuitive presence and attention to detail, she ensures participants feel supported and cared for throughout the retreat experience. Alongside her husband Ralph, she helps create a loving and grounded ceremonial environment.
Musician and ceremonial facilitator, Ian is a former touring artist whose music is deeply inspired by his work with plant medicine teachers in sacred locations. His heart-centered approach to ceremony and integration blends music, compassion, and a touch of cosmic humor, helping participants navigate their journeys with ease and warmth.
Facilitator and integration guide, TJ supports participants throughout the ceremonial process and beyond. Drawing from years of experience with ayahuasca, mapacho, and hape, he offers grounded presence and compassionate care. Through live musical accompaniment—including didgeridoo, flute, handpan, drums, and voice—he supports emotional release and energetic flow. TJ also leads integration circles and ongoing support sessions to help participants embody their insights.

"Mother Aya taught me more about myself, empathy, compassion, and perspective in one weekend than I’d ever been able to figure out on my own. This will help me for the rest of my life. I can’t imagine the path I would have continued down without this."

Jim Hadnot - St. George, UT
"Hummingbird Church feels like what a church is supposed to be: a fellowship of individuals coming together to heal, love and encourage one another with egos in check. This was my first experience with Ayahuasca and I am so grateful."

Alyssa Vidal
Hummingbird Church is a collective of souls seeking to heal and connect with the planet and others. To go beyond ourselves and find deeper meaning in the joy, trauma, success, and failure we experience in life. I’m forever thankful for Hummingbird Church, its staff, healers, and community. I love you all.

Ishon Jones - Cherry Valley, CA
